    We invite you to join us at historic Camp Woods for the sixth annual Green Ribbon Gala. Each autumn, guests gather at a unique venue to enjoy an evening celebrating a legacy of conservation and land preservation in the Wissahickon Valley Watershed

  • Walk on the Wild Side!

    All walks start at 8:00 a.m.

    The Walk on the Wild Side offers a chance to experience the beautiful Green Ribbon Trail that follows the Wissahickon Creek from North Wales and eventually connecting with Fairmount Park’s Forbidden Drive. Participants can choose the length and pace of their walk (5, 8 or 14 miles). This year, due to restricted road access in Philadelphia for the Papal Visit, the challenge hike will go to 14 miles - it will end at the beautiful Bloomfield Meadow of Morris Arboretum just at the Philadelphia border. All of the walks are guided and participants are bussed back to the starting point.

  • Fall Mill Festival

    1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    Celebrate traditions from times past at the Fall Mill Festival.  Take a tour of Montgomery County's only water-powered gristmill and experience many hands-on, family-friendly demontrations including tin smithing, corn husk dolls, Lenni-Lenape story teller, antique cars and more.
