Family Hike at Crossways Preserve

1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The 57 acres of the Crossways Preserve is a landscape of extreme natural features. Meadows with native grasses and wildflowers, stands of towering hardwood trees, wetlands with cattails, and small rivulets that emerge from the ground with cold, clear water. All of this diversity accounts for why the Crossways Preserve has the highest number of native plant species of all of the WVWA Preserves, and why it is such an important natural area to preserve. Come learn about the species that live in such a diversity of habitats, and see why Crossways is such a special place!
