Join the WVWA on a walk and talk to a beautiful section of the Wissahickon Creek that was restored in 2012. We will talk about the state of the site prior to restoration and then visit the improvements made, including the area of a removed and defunct bridge, native plantings, in-stream habitat improvements, and a berm for holding stormwater runoff from a nearby residential area. July is the perfect time to visit this site and see the native plants along the creek in full bloom. Walk will be approximately ½ - ¾ miles.
