History Walk at Camp Woods

1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Take a walk at Camp Woods under the towering tulip and beech trees of our most historic preserve, where General Washington camped out with his troops following the battle at Germantown. Hear about the site's interesting history and folklore.

  • Meet at Camp Woods trail entrance at the end of Mason Drive - take Lewis Lane to Miles Drive to Mason Drive in Whitpain Township.
  • Sturdy, waterproof shoes are recommended
  • Bring binoculars and field guide if you have them (some loaners available)
  • Members: FREE
  • Non-Members: $10/adult; children under 12 are free
