Japanese Forest Bathing

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

A walk in the woods… The Japanese call it shinrinyoku, or ‘forest bathing’.

Join us for a contemplative walk in the woods with Sarah Gabriel. We won’t be walking very far so even those with limited mobility are invited. We’ll start and end with a few minutes of talking including some suggestions of how to spend our time in the woods but mostly you will just have quiet time to connect with natural rhythms, rejuvenate your body, and nourish your soul.

Sarah Gabriel has been involved promoting human sustainability for three decades. Visit phillyshinrinyoku.org for more information about shinrinyoku.
