Green Ribbon Gala at Kindle Hill Farm

Saturday, October 7, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Join us at beautiful Kindle Hill Farm for this year's Green Ribbon Gala as we celebrate our 60-year legacy of conservation with an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and live jazz, while honoring three of WVWA's most distinguished Executive Directors.

This stunning 54-acre farm adjoins Crossways Preserve, which was acquired in 1997, thanks in part to the generosity of our host Saly Glassman. Saly's unwavering commitment to conservation, in partnership with WVWA, has ensured that both Kindle Hill Farm and Crossways Preserve have been protected in perpetuity.

Together, these diverse 124 acres offer an opportunity for the bird watcher, hiker and equestrian to explore the beauty of the surrounding landscape while meandering along well-maintained trails and paths.

We are thrilled to be honoring our three most extraordinary Executive Directors:

Paul Felton (1960-1963)
Tom Dolan (1964-1970)
David Froehlich (1976-2006)

Together, these visionaries helped establish and maintain WVWA's stellar reputation as a leader in environmental stewardship and created a credible voice for conservation in the community.
Thanks to their passion for preservation and leadership of WVWA, they helped secure our 60-year legacy of protecting land, water, and life in the Wissahickon Valley.
