WVWA offers guided walks on its preserves throughout the year as a way to introduce people to each unique preserve. The walks offer the participants an opportunity to learn more about each preserve, the natural landscape and the benefits of preserving the land.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are often invited to join the group for the walk. At the end of the walk, guests are invited to stay for light refreshments and discussion.
Most preserve walks are free of charge, please check the specific listing
The walks last an hour to an hour and a half
In case of inclement weather, check the website to see if the walk is on
WVWA’s trails are natural, not hard-pack surfaces; Tree roots, slight ups and downs, are a part of the trail experience. Please wear appropriate footwear
Unless otherwise stated, these trails are not appropriate for wheeled carriages or strollers
No bicycles are ever allowed on WVWA’s trails
