The race starts and ends at the Upper Gwynedd Township Park
1 Parkside Drive, North Wales, PA 19454
Follow Main Street/Sumneytown Pike to the park.
Day of Registration: 8:00 a.m. - 8:50 a.m
Race start: 9:00 a.m.
Runners must clear the course by 10:30 a.m.
Challenge yourself on the beautiful Green Ribbon Trail. This 5-mile race is ideal for both experienced and new trail runners. Runners will start at Parkside Place Park and follow the Green Ribbon Trail downstream, then turn onto Swedesford Road at WVWA’s Evans-Mumbower Mill. Run up Evergreen Drive, then circle through the Natural Lands Trust’s Gwynedd Wildlife Preserve. Reconnect with the Green Ribbon Trail and finish back at the Park’s pavilion for the award ceremony and brunch.
Start & Finish
9:00 a.m. - all runners must finish by 10:30 a.m.
The prizes are provided by North Wales Running Company.
Overall-- 1st male and female-- $50
2nd male and female--$30
3rd male and female--$15
Age Group awards- 1st (only) in age groups--$10
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st place male and female runners in 10-year age groups: 15 and under, 16-19, up to 70 & older
The trail is a natural, wooded trail with a variety of surfaces - dirt, gravel, grass, some single-track, two sets of stepping-stones and a few paved sections. It is mostly flat, with a few climbs and descents.
Police will assist with road crossings.
